nice to meet you!

my name is quinn and i’m a film photographer based out of everett, washington.

i started shooting film as a pandemic hobby, but fell out of practice with it not long after picking it up. in april of 2025, i decided to get out and try it again.

photography has given me an escape from my day-to-day stresses and allowed me to reconnect with my passions, primarily hiking. i’m privileged to live in a beautiful area, and wanted to capture and showcase that to others.

i do enjoy a good view, but i really focus on the minute details on my hikes that catch my attention. the way the sun is hitting a patch of wildflowers, mosses and mushrooms on logs, interesting turns along the trail… you get the drift!

another landscape i enjoy photographing is cities; a nature photographer shooting the streets of downtown everett may seem odd, but being in historic downtown areas gives a unique sense of place that, while distinct, operates in conjunction with my appreciation for the natural world. perhaps a sense of dialectics.

my career in environmental education has taken me many places, even giving the opportunity to move from tennessee to washington, and that’s one of my central themes and drivers in my practices.

i hope that these collections inspire a sense of appreciation for our world – maybe even inspire you to go on a hike or two!
